Returns & Refunds policy

At Legacy & Lore, we deeply appreciate your passion for fine timepieces and are committed to ensuring a seamless, transparent, and secure experience. Given the unique, high-value nature of curated vintage and pre-owned luxury watches, we have established the following policy to protect your investment while preserving the integrity of our collection.

1. Return & Exchange Windows

• Returns: We accommodate return requests within 3 days from the date of delivery.

• Exchanges: You may request to exchange your timepiece for another piece from our collection within 7 days from the date of delivery.

2. Conditions for Acceptance Due to the mechanical intricacy and historical individuality of each watch, returned items must strictly meet the following criteria:

• As-Shipped Condition: The watch must be returned in the exact condition in which it was received. Every timepiece is thoroughly inspected and documented (via high-resolution imagery and video) prior to dispatch. We cannot accept items that exhibit any additional scratches, dings, signs of wear, or mechanical alterations incurred post-delivery.

• Intact Security Tags: To protect our collection against temporary wear, each timepiece is dispatched with a specialized, non-reusable security tag attached. You are welcome to try on and evaluate the watch while the tag remains intact. However, removing, tampering with, or cutting this security tag voids your eligibility for a return or exchange.

• Complete Accompaniments: The timepiece must be returned alongside all original packaging, presentation boxes, certificates, service papers, and documentation included in the initial shipment.

• No Alterations: No adjustments, resizing (such as removing bracelet links), or opening of the watch case back should be attempted. Any internal or external modification voids the return policy.

3. Technical Inspection & Refunds

• Upon receiving the returned timepiece, it will undergo a rigorous internal and external technical evaluation by our specialists to verify its condition against our pre-shipping documentation. This process generally takes 1 to 3 business days.

• Once approved, your refund will be initiated to the original payment method. Please allow 5 to 14 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.

4. Shipping & Insurance Fees

• Preference Returns (Change of Mind): If the timepiece matches its description and imagery perfectly but you choose to return it for personal reasons, the client is responsible for all return shipping, customs, and fully-insured transit fees to guarantee its safe arrival.

• Discrepancies or Unlisted Faults: In the rare event that a timepiece arrives with an unlisted mechanical issue or varies significantly from its documented description, Legacy & Lore will bear all return transit and insurance costs.
